Chamber Ensemble

The Chamber Ensemble program at Blair Academy provides the opportunity for exceptional musicians to further their study of music. Students who participate in Orchestra, String Orchestra, Wind Symphony or Jazz Ensemble may participate in the Chamber Ensemble program. Musicians are assigned to chamber groups based on ability level and interest, and are given performance opportunities both on and off campus.

Blair String Trio to join the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program for the 2009-2010 Season:
Blair’s premier chamber ensemble, including members Jenny Shin, violin, Terrence Ting, cello and Da Eun Jung, piano, (see photo) will travel to New York City this year for coaching sessions, masterclasses and performances as part of the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program. In addition, the trio plans to audition for the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition later this spring.
