String Orchestra

The Blair Academy String Orchestra delves into the world of classical music from arrangements of great standard repertoire to actual original editions of orchestral masterworks. The group is composed of musicians who share a commitment to their instruments and to a high standard of musical performance. Members of the String Orchestra have a minimum of two years of playing experience on their instruments and perform in at least three major concerts a year and other small venues such as open houses and receptions. String Orchestra meets during the academic day and most students commit to the ensemble for the entire year.
