Tweeds & Suedes
In addition to the more traditional outlets for vocal music, Blair has two student-run a capella groups that perform a variety of music, from old-style barbershop to arrangements of modern pop hits. The groups meet outside of the class day, but students may receive arts credit for participating for an entire year. These groups traditionally perform on Valentine’s Day, at school functions, and whenever the desire moves them. Repertoire ranges from the old standards to Billy Joel, Dave Matthews and other contemporary hits.
