Parent Support

Current parents have recently been among Blair’s strongest supporters and most ardent advocates. More than 80% of current parents make gifts to Blair.

As an independent school, Blair receives no financial support from local, state or federal governments. Contributions to the Blair Fund are applied to the School’s operating budget and help to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Blair education (70%). Gifts to the Blair Fund also support acquisitions for the library, athletics, information technology, the purchase of scientific and technological equipment, renovations–and, of course, financial aid.

Parents also support specific initiatives such as endowment and building projects through capital giving. Making an annual gift to the Blair Fund has direct and immediate benefits for your child, Blair faculty and the School’s programs.

Parents are such an important part of the Blair community, and I have the opportunity to get to know most on a personal level. Without a doubt, parent involvement makes the School stronger and enhances the sense of community on campus.
