Mathematics Position
Blair Academy seeks an experienced
Mathematics teacher for employment beginning in the 2008-2009
school year. Very strong preference will be given to candidates
with an advanced, subject area degree and a minimum of five years
of comparable teaching experience. All candidates must be able
to teach all levels, ninth grade Algebra 1 through Advanced Placement
Calculus or Advanced Placement Statistics, and have both an exceptional
work ethic and sense of humor. The position includes dormitory
duty, extra-curricular activities, and coaching.
School Setting
Blair Academy is a co-ed, 9-PG
boarding school of 435 students located in rural northwestern
New Jersey, approximately one hour from New York City. The school
is 75% - 80% boarding, possesses fine facilities and faculty
housing, and is committed to the continuing education of the
