The School community enjoyed welcoming newly accepted students and their families for Revisit Days on Friday, March 31, and Monday, April 3. Each Revisit Day was designed to give students and parents a closer look at all Blair has to offer. “Revisit Day is the perfect opportunity to ask questions, meet students and faculty members, and really get a sense of our close-knit community,” said Peter G. Curran, assistant head of School for enrollment and communications. “We are always happy to welcome so many of the wonderful, accomplished students we met through the admission process and congratulate them on their acceptance at Blair.”
Revisit Day began with registration and continental breakfast in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts, followed by Head of School Chris Fortunato’s welcome address. A lively panel discussion with Blair students and the Special Interests Fair were next, after which prospective students and their parents headed to separate events.
Students met their Blair student hosts and participated in three classroom experiences, School Meeting and lunch in the Romano Dining Hall. Parents attended panel discussions with academic department heads and parents of current Blair students, as well as enjoyed School Meeting, a classroom experience and a buffet luncheon. Mr. Fortunato ended the day with closing remarks.
“There was ample opportunity for students and parents to engage in great conversations throughout the day,” Mr. Curran said, noting that more than 100 families attended the programs.
