Student Leadership

At Blair, we believe that leadership itself is not an innate character trait, but rather a set of individual skills that can be taught, practiced and developed over time.

Among the most important of these skills are communication, problem-solving and the willingness and ability to collaborate with others in the pursuit of a shared vision. All Blair students are challenged to develop these skills on a daily basis, both in and out of the classroom. In addition to those daily opportunities, Blair offers a leadership curriculum through freshman and sophomore health and community-living classes, and more formal training for those selected to assume significant leadership positions in the school.
