Welcome to the Fine and Performing Arts section of the website, where you can find descriptions of all of Blair’s music and theatre offerings, as well as art exhibit and performance schedules. 

Blair’s performing arts series presents groups from the Blair community and the outside arts world. Most performances are open to the public, with general seating available. No reservations or advance ticket sales are necessary unless otherwise indicated.


  • Photography Teacher Receives Recognition for Excellence in Photojournalism

    Blair photography teacher Tyson Trish recently shared professional recognition with several former colleagues at the Bergen County, New Jersey, newspaper The Record for his contribution to a stark and sobering investigative series titled “In Heroin’s Grip.” The project—which includes the work of photographer Mr. Trish, reporter Rebecca D. O’Brien, videographer Thomas E. Franklin and digital projects editor Michael Pettigano—received awards of excellence from the Deadline Club and the Society of the Silurians, two highly regarded organizations of journalism professionals.

  • Romano Gallery Features Varied Artwork & Perspectives This Year

    Blair Academy’s Romano Gallery will display the work of professional, faculty and student artists in nine exhibits throughout the 2016-2017 academic year. Photography, paintings, ceramics, sculpture and more will be featured, giving the Blair community and gallery visitors a wide variety of artwork and artistic visions to study and enjoy.

  • Players Take On Black Comedy in ‘Red Noses’

    The Blair Academy Players’ final performance of the 2015-2016 school year, Red Noses by Peter Barnes, will take place in the Robert J. Evans Open Air Theatre on May 19, 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m.
