Welcome to the Fine and Performing Arts section of the website, where you can find descriptions of all of Blair’s music and theatre offerings, as well as art exhibit and performance schedules. 

Blair’s performing arts series presents groups from the Blair community and the outside arts world. Most performances are open to the public, with general seating available. No reservations or advance ticket sales are necessary unless otherwise indicated.

    Blair’s instrumental and vocal musicians took center stage in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts’ DuBois Theatre on Thursday, November 20, at 7 p.m., for the School’s annual Fall Concert. A varied repertoire of classical, jazz and lyrical works was performed by members of the School’s Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Choir and Singers. In total, nearly 100 students participated in the concert.

  • Gallery Showcases Paintings & Drawings of Renowned New Jersey Artists

    The Romano Gallery welcomes artists and longtime friends Harry I. Naar, Mel Leipzig and Judith K. Brodsky, who will exhibit a varied show of paintings and drawings from November 4 to December 13, 2014. An artists’ reception was held on Thursday, November 13 at 7 p.m.

  • Blair Players Present French Farce of Marital Mayhem

    The Blair Academy Players presented a new version of Georges Feydeau’s “A Flea In Her Ear,” translated by David Ives, on October 30, 31 and November 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts’ DuBois Theatre.
