Welcome to the Fine and Performing Arts section of the website, where you can find descriptions of all of Blair’s music and theatre offerings, as well as art exhibit and performance schedules. 

Blair’s performing arts series presents groups from the Blair community and the outside arts world. Most performances are open to the public, with general seating available. No reservations or advance ticket sales are necessary unless otherwise indicated.

  • Players Take On Black Comedy in ‘Red Noses’

    The Blair Academy Players’ final performance of the 2015-2016 school year, Red Noses by Peter Barnes, will take place in the Robert J. Evans Open Air Theatre on May 19, 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Blair Players Stage In-the-Round Production ‘Shakespeare in Hollywood’

    The Blair Academy Players take the stage to present Ken Ludwig’s Shakespeare in Hollywood on May 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts’ Wean Theatre. General admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students, and reservations can be made by emailing mcmilm@blair.edu.

  • Imaginative Works Screened at Student Film Festival

    Blair’s student filmmakers displayed artistic vision, storytelling talent and technical skill at the spring Student Film Festival, held May 5 in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts. Ten films created during the spring semester were screened for an appreciative audience of friends and faculty, and awards were announced for the best overall films of the year, including those that had been screened at the fall Student Film Festival held in December.
