Welcome to the Fine and Performing Arts section of the website, where you can find descriptions of all of Blair’s music and theatre offerings, as well as art exhibit and performance schedules. 

Blair’s performing arts series presents groups from the Blair community and the outside arts world. Most performances are open to the public, with general seating available. No reservations or advance ticket sales are necessary unless otherwise indicated.

  • Blair Academy Players & Faculty Collaborate in Frankenstein 2029

    The Blair Academy Players will take the stage for a final time this year in the second-ever production of Frankenstein 2029, an immersive, multimedia and interdisciplinary theatrical experience with a central plot that pivots on that of Mary Shelley’s original Gothic science fiction novel. The show opens Thursday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m., and will loop twice nightly (the second loop begins around 8:15 p.m.).

  • Players Present Shakespearean Comedy Much Ado About Nothing

    The Blair Academy Players will present one of William Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, Much Ado About Nothing, on May 11, 12 and 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Robert J. Evans Open Air Theatre.

  • Annual Romano Gallery Exhibition Showcases Student Artistry

    In the final Romano Gallery showcase of the school year, Blair’s fine artists share with the community all they have learned and created since the fall. From April 27 to May 23, original student works ranging from photography and film, to paintings and drawings, to graphic design, 3D pieces and more will be on display in the Gallery.
