Welcome to the Fine and Performing Arts section of the website, where you can find descriptions of all of Blair’s music and theatre offerings, as well as art exhibit and performance schedules. 

Blair’s performing arts series presents groups from the Blair community and the outside arts world. Most performances are open to the public, with general seating available. No reservations or advance ticket sales are necessary unless otherwise indicated.

    The Blair Academy Players are going over the rainbow this winter with their production of The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, with music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg.

  • Faculty Artists Showcased in The Romano Gallery

    For most of the year, The Romano Gallery exhibits the work of professional artists from the East Coast for students and faculty to study and enjoy. In February, however, the gallery is showcasing artwork created by Blair’s own fine arts teachers, giving the School community and gallery visitors a unique opportunity to get to know these six talented faculty members through their work and artistic vision.

  • One Day, Three Plays

    Talented members of the Blair community came together on January 24 to perform three short productions created by students and faculty: “September, 2 pm” (by Sadie Britton ’16); “The Interview” (by science teacher and event organizer Michael Ryerson) and “Clyde” (by Chris Bottone ’16).
