Campus & Community
You have come to the right place if you are seeking a school with great academics, athletics, and arts programs, as well as a strong and diverse community. Just walking from class to class is an uplifting experience because people here are warm and welcoming. I am so happy that I chose Blair because I could not imagine myself anywhere else. I am challenged but happy here...it is truly a place where students grow and thrive.
Blair Academy’s 463-acre hilltop campus is located in Blairstown, New Jersey, approximately nine miles from the Delaware River in pastoral Warren County.
Our facilities include many beautiful, longstanding buildings dating from our 1848 founding, as well as modern, state-of-the-art structures, such as Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts. Our campus also features excellent athletic venues, including a nine-hole golf course, an all-weather track and a 10-court tennis center.
The Blair community is greatly enriched by its ongoing, cordial relationship with the surrounding community, and we are pleased to partner with local schools and organizations on many occasions throughout the year, including annual town-wide Memorial Day and Independence Day celebrations and Blair’s Day of Service.
Visitors and community members are welcome to attend Blair events that are open to the public, and we offer the following information (as well as our campus map) to help ensure the safety and enjoyment of all who frequent our campus and to help you plan your visit.

The Society of Skeptics was established as a forum for students and faculty to discuss and debate important global issues; it has grown to become one of the premier high school lecture series in the United States.
On Tuesday evenings during the academic year, speakers from the political, social, scientific, economic and literary arenas visit campus to share their unique perspectives and engage in lively conversation. Society of Skeptics lectures are open to the public and are held at 7 p.m. in the Chiang-Elghanayan Center for Innovation and Collaboration, unless otherwise specified. Housed within Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts, The Romano Gallery exhibits the work of professional artists throughout the academic year and hosts a reception for each exhibitor.
The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday; it closes at noon on the final day of an exhibit. View a listing of upcoming exhibits.
Blair Academy’s performing arts department presents several concerts and theatrical productions throughout the academic year, and the public is invited to attend.
All events take place in Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts, with the exception of a year-end dramatic production at the Robert J. Evans Open Air Theatre, which is located on campus adjacent to Blair Lake. View a listing of upcoming performing arts events.
During the month of April, Blair’s college counseling office hosts representatives from nearly 100 colleges and universities at its annual college fair.
Held on two consecutive evenings, the event takes place in Hardwick Hall’s field house and is open to students, parents and school officials from the surrounding area. Please check Blair’s website in early April for the dates of this year’s college fair or contact the college counseling office at (908) 362-6121, ext. 5620, for more information.
