As Blair students and faculty anticipate the chance to relax and recharge over winter break, progress on the construction of Blair's Center for Innovation & Collaboration (CIC) forges ahead.

The first steel beams were installed in November, and work on the building will continue without hiatus over the winter months. To watch a time-lapse video of construction progress to date, click "play" below.

Chief Advancement Officer Craig Hall noted that the advancement office is optimistic about its fundraising efforts for Blair's Forward Thinking Campaign, which includes funding for the construction of the arts- and technology-centric CIC, as well as an addition to Bogle Hall and realignment of space in Weber Hall. "We have raised $10 million toward our $14 million campaign goal," he added.
