Each spring, Blair’s Gratitude Chapel offers students, especially seniors, the opportunity to thank those who have made their years at the School special. Even though this spring is far from a typical one at Blair, the community came together in spirit on May 1 for the 2020 virtual Gratitude Chapel. The event was more poignant than ever, as students from every grade, as well as faculty and staff members, shared recorded messages of heartfelt thanks.
Senior Class Council members and Associate Dean of Students Caroline Wilson compiled more than 80 video submissions from the community to create the online event. It includes “shout-outs” to close friends and advisors, as well as to people who helped others in class, to those who were there during tough moments and to those who just brightened someone’s day. “We can all use gratitude more than ever right now,” Ms. Wilson said, and Blair community members agreed, as evidenced by their outpouring of thanks.
