No matter the class year, Blair Academy has been a steadfast pillar for generations of Buccaneers, guiding them through every season of life. On Blair’s tenth Day of Giving, the School invited the community to embrace that shared nostalgia and support the Blair Fund, ensuring future generations have the same experience for years to come. 

This year’s Day of Giving kicked off celebrating the alums, parents and friends who make our community so special. Just like the seasons at Blair, every Buc has their own unique experience. To celebrate those journeys, the advancement team created an interactive quiz, helping donors uncover which Blair season best reflects their school spirit—and how their support aligns with Blair’s future. No matter the season, donor support helps today’s students thrive.

On campus, student, staff and faculty volunteers rallied supporters, offering sweet treats and fun photo opportunities. Online, giveaways enticed donors and generous supporters offered matching gifts to further boost the totals. This year, donors made a collective 766 gifts, well above the goal of 658, representing the total number of members of the Blair community. In total, the group effort effectively raised $328,846 for the Blair Fund, one of the School’s most important fundraising initiatives, providing day-to-day support for many aspects of Blair. The Blair Fund strengthens and ensures a robust Blair experience for today’s students and faculty. To continue the tradition of academic and extracurricular excellence, the School relies upon consistent financial support.

For 10 years, Blair’s Day of Giving has honored the mission of our founders and supported the intricate experiences that form the hallmarks of a Blair education. This annual tradition honors our founding and 177 years of delivering on our mission, and it has become a powerful tradition that unites the Blair family around the world. 

“Today’s hashtag ‘I am Blair’ captures how deeply connected our extended Blair family is to this institution,” Head of School Peter G. Curran P’27 ’27 shared in his thank-you message. “We are so grateful for the generosity and support of every member of the Blair community—today and every day.”

That generosity has had an impressive impact—raising more than $3 million over the last decade from nearly 3,000 donors. Each contribution plays a pivotal part in providing today’s students with the same transformative experience that has defined Blair for generations.
