Alumni Weekend FAQs

The Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Head of School Assembly and Arts Guild induction ceremony will be streamed live via our website on Saturday, June 8. All are welcome to view Blair’s events in real time via the livestream links below. In the event of any technical difficulties, the broadcast will be archived for future viewing.

Athletic Hall of Fame: 9 a.m.

Head of School Assembly: 11 a.m.

Arts Guild: 2:30 p.m.

Blair is located approximately nine miles east of the Delaware River and the Pennsylvania/New Jersey border. The School is easily accessible via Interstate Route 80. Sixty-five miles from New York City, Blair sits in close proximity to four international airports: Newark (NJ) closest proximity to Blair, John F. Kennedy (NY), LaGuardia (NY) and Lehigh Valley (PA).

For transport we recommend using State Shuttle for shuttle service or private sedans (particularly for transport to/from nearby airports). To reach State Shuttle, call (800) 427-3207, or visit its website.

As of March 7, 2022 Blair Academy moved to a mask-optional policy. Anyone who wishes to mask up in any campus space is encouraged to do so, but masks are no longer required indoors for members of the Blair community and visitors. 

When you arrive on campus proceed to Meerwarth Courtyard, located between Clinton and Locke Halls (by the Arch), for check-in, directional signs will point the way. At check-in, you will receive your official name badge which notes meals you have paid for (please wear your name badge at all times throughout the weekend), pamphlet with the schedule of events, and any other class-specific information or items.

Registration Check-In Hours:
Friday, June 6: 10:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m
Saturday, June 7: 8:00 a.m.-7:00p.m.

*Golf Scramble registration will be at check-in by the Arch.

Suggested Attire for Events

All Friday & Saturday Day Events: Comfortable, casual clothing.

For Friday Evening Events:

• 50th Reunion Dinner: Business causal preferred. Outside Chiang-Elghanayan Center for Innovation and Collaboration
• Welcome Back, Bucs, Party: Casual attire. Hardwick Hall lawn under the tent (outdoor).

Saturday Alumni Dinner : Dressy, festive attire.

Childcare is available on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 for an additional fee (to be paid directly to the sitter at time of service at a rate of $15/hour for one child; $20/hour for two or more children). Sitters will be using the Learning Center for weekend childcare.

Well-behaved canines are allowed on campus and all pets are required to be leashed. No pets are allowed to stay overnight in the dorms. For nearby overnight boarding for pets, we recommend using Hope's Kennels located in Blairstown. Their phone number is (908) 459-5380.

Yes, there will be designated locker rooms for men and women in Hardwick Hall. The locker rooms will not be locked, so users should not leave their belongings there without securing them in a locker. If you would like to use a locker, please bring your own lock. 

Each meal will include gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.
