indoor track recap 2/12/2026

The Bucs turned in a strong showing at the NJISAA State Championships last night down in Lawrenceville, highlighted by big performances, personal bests, and continued momentum from a young and hungry group.

On the boys’ side, Parker Lee '27, Harrison Aillet '28, and Sekario Crossman '28 all delivered big PRs in the 55m dash, setting the tone early. In the 400m, Ashton Brockington '29 (Grade 9) put together an outstanding race, earning a top-20 finish with a new PR of 56.58. The future is incredibly bright for Ashton, and we’re excited to watch his rare talent continue to grow. Teddy Hahn '28 and Race Teeple '28 also ran strong races in the 400m, further showing just how much potential this young boys’ team has as it continues to develop. In the 200m, Harrison posted another big PR while Ashton closed out the event with a season best. Brayden capped off a great night in the 3200m, dropping his time once again with another PR and a strong 12th-place finish.

The girls also had an excellent night. Lola Bambe '27 qualified for the 55m dash finals and placed 5th overall with a big PR. Sofia Alonso '28 and Anwita Borra '26 both ran strong races in the 400m, and Zamoi Jones '27 wrapped up her season on a high note with a PR in the 200m.

This meet marked the final full-team competition of the indoor season, with a few athletes continuing on next weekend at Ocean Breeze for the Elite Invitational and others setting their sights on Nike Indoor Nationals in March. With the spring season right around the corner, the team is excited to see this group continue to build, grow, and support one another as they push toward new levels.
