Blair Baseball falls short in comeback effort against St. Benedict's

The varsity baseball team fought back this past Tuesday after falling down by five runs in the sixth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in an 6-8 defeat to St. Benedict's Prep. Blair scored two runs in the failed comeback in the seventh on a triple by Shane Hadden '25 and a single by David Sacks '23. 

Leading the offense for the Bucs was Gowen Coates '23 who went 2-3 at the plate with an RBI triple in the fifth. Starting on the mound was Carson Bowman '25, who earned two strikeouts and only allowed two hits and one run. Achylles Pons-Beltsyk '24, Brady Hoffman '26, and Jackson Cooper '26 all relief pitched.
