The varsity baseball team has been on a heater lately, earning three wins in a row and bringing their overall record to 5-2. Blair defeated Newton on April 19 with a final score of 8-7, earning three home runs in that game. Following that performance, Blair crushed Mercersburg in a double header, with finals scores of 12-2 and 16-0.
In the Newton game, home runs were hit by Steven Accomando '27, Carson Bowman '25, and Michael Olender to lead the Bucs. Merritt Fisher had a great game at the plate as well, going 3-4 with 2 RBIs, a double, and a triple.
Shane Hadden '25, Charles Farinella '27, and Jack McCauley '26 have had great perfomances on the mound, being strong pitchers for Blair. Callen Murphy '26 closed the second game of the doubleheader in dominant fashion. Their next game will be on Saturday, April 26, at Pennington, at 2:30 p.m.
