This past weekend, the Blair crew team traveled to Mercer Lake for a competition against top programs in the state. The varsity four boat for the boys' team finished 2nd in the Petite Final, 8th overall, finishing 0.3 seconds ahead of the Hill School, who finished 3rd in the Petite Final, 9th overall. Blair and Hill had two thrilling races together, and both crews offered congratulations for the excellent racing at the end of each race.
The girls' varsity crew team faced some of the fastest clubs in the country as well as Peddie, Lawrenceville, Hun and other scholastic programs. The varsity four boat won the Petite Final by just over 4 seconds, finishing 7th overall beating the last place crew boat by time in the A final. They were the fastest scholastic program, beating Peddie by 13 seconds in the Petite final.
Blair crew competes in the Garden States Scholastics this weekend.
