Blair's First Varsity Four of Liam Junkermann '19, Max Cavallaro '18, Zach Kreider '18, Ethan Huang '18, and Ari Cobb '20 competed this past weekend at the SRAA National Championship Regatta in Camden, New Jersey after qualifying at the Garden States Scholastic Championship at the end of April. Out of a starting field of 34 varsity men's fours, they advanced to the Grand Final by winning their heat on Friday and their semi on Saturday morning.The Grand Final was a repeat of the showdown from the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, with the competition coming down between a boat from Pennsylvania, a boat from New York, and the Blair boat from New Jersey. In a photo finish, Blair finished 3rd, 0.139 seconds behinds 2nd place Nichols from Buffalo, New York and two seconds behind 1st place Haverford from Philadelphia.
