The varsity football team earned their second win in a row against The Hill School this past Saturday. Blair won the game 26-14.
Offensively, junior quarterback Micah Balzarini '24 went 13-18 with 165 passing yards and a touchdown. The rushing attack was led by Yaneik Gallego '24, who earned two touchdowns and 118 rushing yards on 23 attempts.
It was also a great day for Blair's wide receivers. Moussa Kane '23 led the way with 84 receiving yards with four catches. Richie Hosein '23 also earned 47 yards off of four catches, including a touchdown. Blair's fourth touchdown was scored by Brayden Phinney '24, who recorded 47 rushing yards on two attempts.
Blair's defense played well throughout the game, and contained the Hill Rams to only two scores. Kaleb Nelson '25, Brayden Phinney '24, and Nolan Nieves '23 each had three tackles a piece. Michael Beydoun '23 had a great day on the defensive line earning two sacks.
The team will host Wyoming Seminary this Saturday, October 29, at 4:30 p.m.
