The Blair varsity football team has constantly battled all season long through injuries and playing tough opponents. But the Bucs overcame this past weekend, defeating a tough Lawrenceville team 33-12.
Leading the charge was senior quarterback Re'Mahn Davis '19, who rushed for 178 yards on 17 carries with two rushing touchdowns. He was 2 for 5 throwing the ball with 61 yards and a touchdown as well. Senior co-captain Owen Trephan '19 also contributed offensively, adding 27 yards on eight carries.
Defensively, senior co-captain David Ojabo '19 made the highlight of the day with a fumble recovery leading to a touchdown.
This leaves Blair's record at 5-2, before playing Peddie this Saturday. This will mark the 115th football game between these two schools. This rivalry game will begin at 2:15 p.m at Blair Academy.
