The Blair girls' basketball team delivered a few dominant performances, defeating Pennington 75-30 and defeating Scranton Prep 63-47.
Mary Ganim ’28 led all scorers with 14 points, including four three-pointers. Alana Reddy ’25 contributed 12 points and eight rebounds, while Ava Fajardo ’26 added 11 points and five steals. Isabela Grant ’26 and Priyanka Ponnam ’26 each recorded 11 points, with Grant adding five rebounds and four assists and Ponnam collecting eight rebounds and four assists. Debra Hill ’25 had 10 points, along with three rebounds and two blocks.
On Thursday, the team defeated Scranton Prep, marking Scranton Prep’s first loss of the season. Ava and Debra led Blair with 16 points each, with Ava scoring five points and Hill adding four in the first quarter. The Bucs maintained its lead throughout the game, securing the win.
Blair is on a eight game win streak looking to make it nine as they host Rutgers Prep February 6th, at 6:15 p.m.
