In the first slalom ski race of the year, both the boys' and girls' ski teams finished in 2nd place.
The girls' varsity squad had another 2nd place finish on very strong skiing from all the whole team. Chloe Rayer '20 skied fast to a 5th place finish and Nina Sigety '19 had a breakthrough slalom race, aggressively skiing to a 6th place finish with her best runs ever in slalom. Grace Rayer '19 was next up in 9th, Soura Saxton '18 in 10th, Avery Lehman '21 in 11th and Kendra Payne '20 in 18th. It's tough to finish all six racers in slalom, but the Bucs did just that. This race brings their season record to 14-6.
For the boys' varsity squad, Junhan Park '19 had the 3rd best time and Patrick Donaghy '18 had the 9th best time. Thomas Engel '20 had another brilliant race, only skiing slalom for a total of three days in his life and finishing in 5th place. Eli Fuller '21 skied well to a 9th place finish. Just behind him was Michael Uglum '18 in 10th and Max O'Halloran '19 in 11th. Overall, the boys varsity finished in 2nd place last night and they bring a 14-3 season record into the final two races of the regular season.
