On May 18, the varsity softball team escaped with a win against the Hun School in the NJISAA Prep A State Semifinals by a score of 2-1. Losing to Hun twice in the regular season, Blair battled throughout the game to come out victorious, earning the opportunity to play for a state championship this Thursday against Lawrenceville.
Mallory Allen '23 held the Red Raiders to one run, ending the game with eight strikeouts and only allowing eight hits. Offensively, the team saw the ball well today, racking up seven total hits. Leading the team at the plate were Jocelyn O'Keeffe '24 and Katie Miller '21, each having two hits.
The Bucs will end their season competing for a NJISAA Prep A State Championship on Thursday, May 20, at 4:30 p.m at The Lawrenceville School.
