Blair Softball Wins Defensive Battle Against Gill St. Bernard's

In a defensive battle on the softball diamond, Blair (2-1) edged out Gill St. Bernard’s in a 1-0 shutout.

The game was defined by elite pitching and timely hitting. Pitcher McKenna Osgood '28 earned the win with a complete-game shutout, striking out ten batters while allowing only three hits over seven innings. 

The difference maker was that Blair broke the scoreless tie in the 5th inning when Adison Thatcher '27 reached base and eventually scored the game's only run. Maya Zimmerman '28 provided the necessary power with a double and the game's lone RBI. Blair’s defense played a clean game with zero errors, supporting Osgood’s gem in the circle. 

Blair's next game will be at Peddie School on Wednesday, April 8, at 4:30 p.m.
