This weekend, the Blair swim team traveled to The Hill School for their first tri-meet against Hill and Hun.
On the girls' side, they had a lot of first place finishes. They started off by winning the 200 medley relay. Hannah Wilson '26 had another great day in the pool, winning the 200 IM and breaking the school record in the 100 backstroke in addition to placing 1st. Allie Wolff '24 won the 200 freestyle race. Piper Summers '24 placed third in the 200 IM and additionally took first in the 100 fly. Riley Bacinski '25 won the 50 free and 500 free. Melody Seghin '26 took second in the 100 free. Rounding out the top performances for the Bucs was Natalie Kislin '25 who took third in the 100 breaststroke. The girls took first and third in the 400 free relay. Overall, the girls won, beating Hill and Hun.
The boys' took third in the 200 medley relay. Jasper Balogh '27 placed third in the 200 free. Dirk Peereboom '25 took third in the 100 fly. Jason Zhao '24 took first in the 100 free and the 100 back. Finally, the boys took second in the 400 free relay. Overall, the boys tied Hun for second place.
Blair's next meet will be on Wednesday, January 17, as they travel to Pennington for a double dual at 4:15 p.m.
