On Monday, May 21, four members of the Girls' Track and Field team went down to Randolph High School to participate in the East Coast Relays. The ladies ran both the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relays. The teams comprised of Savannah Lee '20, Madison Jones '19, Ashlyn Alles '20, and Veronica Blair '18. They finished fourth overall in the 4 x 100 with a school record time of 49.17 seconds, and took 2nd place overall in the 4 x 200 with another school record time on 1:43.58. The run in the 4 x 200 qualifies the ladies for the New Balance national high school championships this June in Greensboro, NC, where the ladies will continue their relay campaign in the Emerging Elite division.

In other track and field news, Madison Jones '19 set a new MAPL record in the 100 meter dash at this year's MAPL Championship. Her time of 12.32 is ranked 8th overall in New Jersey this season. She will continue her individual efforts on June 3rd at the Eastern State Championships
