The Track & Field headed to The Hill School on Saturday for the Annual Hill Relays, highlighted by an outstanding performance from our field group.
On the boys’ side, Jack McCauley '26 led the way with a dominant 1st place finish in the discus, launching a throw of 151-6. Eric Zhu '28 followed with a strong showing in the high jump, clearing 6-0 for a season-best and a 2nd place finish. In the horizontal jumps, Jaiveer Chauhan and Pami Odusanya '27 teamed up to win the Long Jump relay - Jaiveer soared to 21-7 while Pami added a big mark of 20-0.75. Jaiveer wasn’t done there, as he also took 2nd in the triple jump with an impressive PR of 45-2.
The girls’ field squad matched that energy with a strong day of their own. Lola Bambe '27 and Lea Myers '27 placed 4th and 5th in the long jump, respectively, while Anabela Simovski '29 delivered a standout performance in the discus, finishing 4th with a PR throw of 67-7.
A great day in the field for both teams, continuing to build momentum as we move deeper into the season. Next up, the team returns home on Tuesday to host Belvidere before heading to East Stroudsburg University this weekend for the Black & Red Invitational. Looking forward to another strong week ahead.
