The varsity volleyball team dominated this past Wednesday against Parsippany High School, defeating them in two sets 25-15, 25-20. Blair was great at both attacking and receiving the ball, picking up every single hit from the opponents and returning with accurate hits.
Charlotte Devereux '24 starred in this match, starting as captain, and paving the way for the Bucs early dominance. Blair's second win of the season saw three separate players on the stats sheet for blocks. Courtney Payne '25 also did very well, picking up more than five digs, and even a couple tipped balls in addition to phenomenal services. The final star of the game was Noor Yunis '25, who picked up three kills, two blocks, and at least ten accurate hits that did very well against a team with strong defense.
What ultimately led Blair to success was the tenacity by the team's back row, who constantly dove and gave it their all for every single point. Blair's next game will be against Princeton Day on Saturday, September 24th, at 1:30 p.m.
