Blair Wrestling defeats St. Edward's and LaSalle

The Blair wrestling team traveled to Ohio to compete in a tri-match against St. Edward's High School and LaSalle. In their match against USA #9 St. Edward's, the Bucs won 53-11 winning eleven of the 14 bouts.
Blair's wins included five pins from Marc-Anthony McGowan '23 (106 lbs.), Shayne Van Ness '21 (132 lbs.), Cody Chittum '23 (138 lbs.), Rylan Rogers '22 (182 lbs.), and Peyton Craft '21 (195 lbs.). Chittum's pin came when he was leading his opponent 19-5.
The team defeated LaSalle 73-3. Trevor Mastrogiovanni '20 (126 lbs.) defeated his opponent 12-0 contributing to the win.
Next weekend will be the MAPL Tournament at the Peddie School on February 1st at 12:00 p.m.
