It was a game that went down to the final whistle as Blair lost to St. Benedict's 68-66 in the NJISAA Prep A State Championship last night. The Bucs battled through adversity the entire game, trailing by 13 points in the 3rd quarter and coming within striking distance. 

Entering the 4th quarter, the team went on a 8-0 run and then a 9-5 run after that, cutting the deficit to a two point game. Leading in scoring was Michael O'Connell '20 with 20 points, followed by Kyle Cuffe '22 with 15 points and Jaylen Blakes '21 with 14 points. 

The team finished their season with an overall 25-3 record, a MAPL championship, and key wins over national opponents Patrick School, New Hampton School, and Our Savior Lutheran in the Kyrie Invitational.
