There were many successes and strong performances that the Blair boys' cross country team put in over the course of the season. Several Blair runners were able to maintain contact with the Peddie #3-man in the opening mile of the race but he managed to pull away bit by bit. The Peddie #4-man surged along with Blair’s first finisher, Luke Antoneck ‘26, and ended up besting him by a second coming down the home stretch. Luke finished at 18:36, just a few seconds off his previous best on the home course. In 2nd place for Blair was Ashton Brockington ‘29 who maintained contact with the Peddie pack we were targeting for much of the race, and wound up finishing 7th overall at 18:44. Luke Hosonitz ‘28 and Matthew Jacob ‘28 finished 3rd and fourth for Blair at 19:03 (course PR!) and 19:09 (course PR!) respectively. Rounding out the top 8 for Blair were Breck Eagle ‘27 (19:24), Eric Bocanegra ‘27 (19:43), Brayden Yau ‘28 (19:47) and Wyatt Stauffer ‘28 (19:52 - PR!). Of note in these results is the relative youth of our top eight runners in this race, with only one senior among them.
Also finishing for Blair were Edwin Asencio ‘26 (20:52), Matteo Felician-Baird ‘29 (21:13), Jack Hodakowski ‘29 (22:30 - course PR), Munir Toklu ‘28 (22:33 - PR), Will Souweidane ‘29 (23:16 - course PR), Khang Nguyen ‘26 (23:30 - course PR), Alex Ren ‘28 (23:53 - course PR), Joseph Grizzetti ‘26 (24:35 - course PR), Sean Lee ‘26 (24:51 - course PR), Nathan Kim ‘26 (26:07), Andrew Miyasaki ‘28 (26:13 - course PR), Yojan Krishnaswami ‘29 (26:34), and Luke Li ‘29 (26:35 - course PR).
