Boys’ Golf Starts the Season Strong

The boys’ golf team traveled to Riverdale Country Club to participate in the FDU Open. Throughout the day, there were many notable performances from the Bucs during the match.
Alex Lyu ’25 shot par for the course with a score of 72, placing him sixth out of 83 golfers. James Castle ’26 followed and finished seventh. Jonah Hourihan ’25 finished with a 79 and Derek Chen ’26 shot an 80. This was a great performance from Jonah and Derek as they competed in their first varsity tournaments. Overall, the team tied for fourth out of 16 in their first tournament of the season.
