This past Saturday, Blair hosted the MAPL Boys' Tennis Tournament, where the Bucs were able to place 3rd in the tournament after much improvement throughout the season. The team earned 11 total team points to surpass Mercersburg, Peddie, and Hun for the third place slot.
Leading the way for the team was Andy Lee 26, who placed 2nd in the first singles flight. Andy defeated the Lawrenceville opponent 6-4, 6-2 in the semi-finals before a tough loss to Hill that went to a third-set tiebreaker. Following him was Gio Choi '25 who earned 3rd place in the third singles flight after a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Peddie. Yanin Jurangkool '25 also contributed placing 4th in the second singles flight, earning a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Mercersburg.
Blair will host Pingry this Tuesday, May 16, at 4:30 p.m. They will conclude their season this Thursday, May 18, at the NJISAA Prep A State Tournament.
