The boys' basketball team secured two wins over the weekend, with an 86-60 victory over Life Center Academy on Friday, following with a dominant win over Lawrenceville.
Deron Rippey ’26 tallied 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and five steals. Jaen Chatman ’26 contributed 12 points, hitting 75% from the field and 100% from beyond the arc, while also adding five assists. Jack Bailey ’25 had a standout performance with a double-double, scoring 22 points, going 5-for-6 from the free-throw line, and grabbing 12 rebounds. Brendan Oliver ’25 added 18 points, shooting 50% from three-point range and 100% from the free throw line.
On Saturday, the boys basketball team walked away with a 93-49 victory over Lawrenceville, continuing their strong season. Rippey contributed 14 points and five assists, Chatman added eleven points and three assists, Bailey with 18 points and eight rebounds, Oliver tallied 12 points, while Mayo Soyoye ’25 was highly efficient on the court, scoring 14 points on 6-for-7 from the field and grabbing five rebounds. The team’s collective efforts were on full display in this impressive win, showcasing their playmaking abilities. The boys’ basketball team will travel to Pennington on January 29th looking to add another win this season.
