On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Blair Academy traveled to Pennsylvania and secured an impressive 14–8 road victory over the Academy of the New Church (ANC). The win moved the Buccaneers to a 4–2 season record.
The story of the game was the offensive explosion from Jack Seeger '27. Seeger put on a masterclass in finishing, netting six goals and adding two assists to finish with a game-high eight points. He was supported by Sebastian Rudnick '28, who recorded a hat trick with three goals, and Kellen Nelson '27, who acted as a primary distributor with three assists and one goal.
Other goal scorers for the Buccaneers included Derek Constantino '27, Will Evans '29, Tucker Seamans '28, and Michael Antonelli '26, who each found the back of the net once.
Blair’s ability to maintain possession was largely due to the work of Michael Antonelli in the faceoff circle. Antonelli was nearly unstoppable, winning 18 of 22 draws for a staggering 81.8% win percentage. His efforts directly translated into extra possessions for the Blair offense and he led the team with 9 ground balls.
Defensively, Blair remained disciplined against a physical ANC squad. Goaltender Kevin Cooke '27 was sharp between the pipes, recording 11 saves to keep the lead comfortable throughout the contest.
