Boys' Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Bernards in Thrilling Fashion

Blair Academy's boys' varsity lacrosse team showed great resilience in a tough game against Bernards High School in Bernardsville, NJ. The team started out behind in the first and second quarters, but they stayed focused and mentally tough despite the cold, rainy weather.

Mikey Antonelli '26 stood out with 12 ground balls, three goals, and winning 90% of his face-offs, helping Blair gain control of the game. Kellen Nelson '27 added four ground balls. Layton Glover '26 and Tucker Seamans '28 had three each. Luca Ingenito '27, Wilder Merton '26, Brandon Wood '26, Maxwell Bowers '26, Jack Seeger '27, and Derek Constantino '27 all contributed key plays defensively.

On offense, Tucker led with four goals, while Will Evans '29, Sebastian Rudnick '28, Wilder, Luca, and Kellen also scored. Maxwell, Brandon, and Jack helped create opportunities with their assists. The team won the majority of face-offs throughout the game, which helped them keep momentum and stay in the fight.

The game stayed close, and with the score tied in the final moments, Blair kept pushing. With just four seconds left, Tucker Seamans scored an amazing game-winning goal to secure the victory 13-12. Blair Academy's ability to stay focused, fight through adversity, and work together made the difference in this hard-fought win.
