The Blair Academy boys' lacrosse team continued their mid-season surge yesterday, April 16, 2026, delivering a dominant 17–5 road victory over Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania. The win marks the Buccaneers' third consecutive victory and improves their overall record to 6–2.
The Buccaneers essentially decided the contest in the first 24 minutes, erupting for 14 goals before halftime. After a strong 6–2 opening frame, Blair completely shut down the Blue Knights in the second quarter, outscoring them 8–0. This offensive efficiency allowed the coaching staff to utilize the full depth of the roster throughout the second half. While the scoring was distributed across nine different players, Sebastian Rudnick '28 was the clear catalyst for the offense. He led all scorers with five goals and two assists for a seven-point performance. The two-goal club was a quartet of Bucs—Jack Seeger '27, Tucker Seamans '28, Kellen Nelson '27, and Will Evans '29—each netted two goals to keep the Wyoming Seminary defense on its heels.
Jack, Kellen, and Will also contributed an assist each, ensuring the ball moved fluently through the offensive set. Possession remains the name of the game for Blair, and Michael Antonelli '26 provided another statistically stunning performance. Antonelli went 20-for-21 at the faceoff X, finishing with a 95.2% win rate.
As a team, the Buccaneers won 22 of 24 faceoffs (91.6%), effectively starving the Blue Knights of any offensive rhythm. Blair utilized a two-man rotation in the cage to secure the win. Kevin Cooke '27 started the contest and remained sharp, recording five saves while allowing only two goals. Ayden Zosche '27 came on in relief to anchor the second half, contributing three saves to preserve the double-digit lead.
