Boys' Varsity Lacrosse earns win against Newton

The boys' varsity lacrosse team earned a hard-fought win this past Tuesday against Newton High School. After trailing 0-3 within the first minutes of the game, the Bucs battled back to secure a 12-10 victory over the Braves. 

Leading the offense for Blair was Yaneik Gallego '24, who had four goals and one assist. Following him was Carsten Viravec '24 and Kaleb Nelson '25 with three goals each. Michael Diaco '23 rounded out the scoring with two goals.

Mikey Antonelli '26 also played a key role in the victory, as he won 16 face-offs for Blair. Nate Byrne '24 recorded five saves as goalkeeper.

Blair's current record is 2-2. Their next game will be on Thursday, April 13, as they travel to play Delaware Valley at 4:30 p.m.
