The varsity boys' tennis team left no doubt in this past Wednesday's match against Peddie, where they shut out the Falcons 7-0. Although the Bucs did not lose a match, the match was decided by many tiebreakers.
Blair won the doubles point with a dominating performance from Mark Riera '22 and Ethan Turkewitz '22, defeating their opponents 8-1. Nick Hansen '22 and Paul Kazilionis '22 was the deciding match, as they escaped with a 13-11 tiebreaker win.
In the singles matches, Turkewitz defeated his opponent in another tiebreaker set, winning the first set 6-3 and last set 10-8. Scottie Kimmelman '22 and Hayden Yau '23 also won their singles matches in three sets, sweeping Peddie in all matches.
The next match for the Bucs will be on Tuesday, April 19, as they travel to Delbarton for a 4:30 p.m match.
