Deron Rippey Jr. '26 Becomes McDonald's All-American

This past Wednesday, Blair Academy honored Deron Rippey Jr. '26 as a 2026 McDonald's All-American. He joins a few Blair alums who have achieved this honor, including Luol Deng '03, Charlie Villanueva '03, and Temi Fagbenle '11.

Deron has been the leader of this year's boys' varsity basketball team, leading them to a 2026 MAPL championship and a 2026 New Jersey Prep Open title. The team will compete next week at the National Prep Championships in West Hartford, CT.

Selected as one of the best high school basketball players in the country, he will play in the 2026 McDonald's All-American game in Phoenix, AZ on March 31.
