It was a culminating weekend for the varsity girls' basketball team, as they competed in the Insider Exposure Independent School National Championship in North Carolina. The Bucs made it to the championship game, falling short to Winston-Salem Christian 47-53.

It was a great run that Blair put together, winning the first two games by more than 20 points. Tabitha Amanze '22 displayed her impressive play inside the paint in those games, include a 20-point performance in the St. Laurent game. Olivia Miles '21 and Dominique Darius '21 continued to lead the fast break with ease, scoring from all over the floor. These performances would lead them to the championship game.

Tied 40-40 with five minutes left in the game, Winston-Salem Christan started to pull away with the lead, securing the title.

"While we are disappointed to fall just short in the final game for the second straight year, I am so proud of the resilience and toughness that these girls demonstrated," said Quint Clarke '87, head girls' basketball coach. "This was the most successful year in Blair GBB history and with our top 8 returning next year, we are already excited to get back on the court."

In four games, Dominique would average 17 points per game, with Olivia following her averaging 15.7 points per game.

Blair finishes their season with a 26-5 record, with four loses from top 15 national teams. They also conclude their season with a MAPL championship an a NJISAA Prep A State Championship.
