Blair and MAPL rival The Hun School faced off over Hun’s home course at Greenway Meadows Park in Princeton, New Jersey. Running in a continuous drizzle on her birthday over a challenging, hilly course, Marty Dericks '22 won the girls race in a personal 5K best time. Her time was nearly a minute faster than those of Blair’s pack of Elise Sigety '20, Jess Wilm '21 and Corrine Wilm '21, who in turn led the Bucs’ fifth runner and final scorer, Caeley Tierney '19, by 45 seconds. The varsity seven was rounded out by Genevieve Koffman '19 and Abby Morris '20, who went out hard and was rewarded with a personal 5K best time. Blair’s junior varsity - Cam Bentley '20, Elizabeth Montfort '20, Cleary Waldo '19, Lucy Clayton '21 and Ilyssa Gibson '22 - also displaced The Hun School’s runners in the shutout 15 - 50 victory.
