A competitive field of 42 runners faced off on Blair’s home course in the State Prep A Championship race on a chilly Wednesday afternoon.  Blair’s first three runners all went under 22 minutes for the first time this year, led by Corrine Wilm '21 with a final time of 21:31. Marty Dericks '22 and Jess Wilm '21 - 21:43 and 21:44, respectively - followed Corrine’s lead in challenging for top-ten spots, running aggressively and with great confidence over the challenging four-loop course.  Elise Sigety '20 and tri-captain Caeley Tierney '19 were fourth and fifth for the team, securing a fifth place team finish and a 22:24 five runner average. After a courageous surge at the second mile mark, Abby Morris '20 ran in the team’s sixth place, while Elizabeth Montfort '20 sliced sixteen seconds off her home course personal best to complete a fine day of fast running.
