Girls’ Lacrosse Starts Season 2-0

This past Tuesday, the girls’ lacrosse team looked to secure their first MAPL win of the season as they faced off against Pennington. When the final horn blew, the Bucs came out on top with a 9-8 victory over Pennington. With six players scoring for the Bucs, they were able to secure another one point victory to remain undefeated to start the season.
Olivia Woollen ’28 and Peyton Taylor ’27 both had two goals in the MAPL showdown, while Ella Eldridge ’26, Madison Kuhner ’27, Mary Clare Devaney ’28 and Lena Rodriguez ’26 each contributed one goal to the narrow victory. Goalkeeper Josie Tetteh ’26 recorded nine saves to hold the lead.
The team looks to keep the momentum going as they host Mercersburg this Saturday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m.
