Girls Soccer defeats Hun

The varsity girls' soccer added to their winning record after defeating Hun by a final score of 5-0. Although the margin of victory was large, the Bucs were challenged by the Red Raiders as the end of the first half was still 0-0.
Going into the second half, Blair scored quickly with Becca Grosiebl '20 being the first to put the ball in the back of the net. Four more goals were scored by Ashlyn Alles '20, Maria Andrinopolus '23, and Beverly DeCosta '21.
Emma Nolan '20 led the defense with 13 saves. Overall, the team recorded 13 shots on goal with nine of them in the first half. This team effort secured Blair's first MAPL victory of the season.
The next challenge for the Bucs will be on Tuesday, October 8th, as they host Pope John at 4:30 p.m.
