Girls' Varsity Tennis Earns First Win of the Season Against Vernon

The varsity girls' tennis team earned a dominant 5-0 victory over Vernon Township High School yesterday. All individual matches ended in two sets. 

Leading the Bucs in first singles was sophomore Naomi Sansone '26, who defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-1. Gray Beall '26 also defeated her opponent with the same scores. Parker Lesley '26 shut out her opponent 6-0, 6-0.

Blair also had great performances in doubles, with Jill Jia '25, Emma Sng '24, Bani Meghadri '25, and C.C. Boellhoff '25 earning victories. Their next match is this Friday, September 15, as they host Rutgers Prep at 4:15 p.m.
