In one of their last season games, Blair Academy's girls' varsity volleyball team came into an emphatic win against the High Point Wildcats at home for their senior night defeating them in three sets. After losing the first set, Blair slowly worked their way back to victory.
The star of the game was sophomore outside hitter Noor Yunis '25, who had an impressive seven kills, oftentimes preventing a runaway score line from the opposition. Another star of the game was Hannah Mathews '25 who had a whopping four aces as a result of serving over twelve times, an impressive number that indicates a strong formation and greatly improved serve.
After winning the second set, Blair clinched the third, ultimately coming out with the victory. Although the game had its fair share of challenges for the Bucs, Blair edged out their opponents for their fifth win of the season and third win in a row. This week will be the last week of the season for girls' varsity volleyball, as they host St. Benedict's on Wednesday and Lawrenceville on Saturday.
