The varsity girls' volleyball team showed sparks of improvement yesterday against Warren Hills, winning their first set of the season in their match loss. In the first set, Blair came up short losing 16-25 against the Blue Streaks. However, the team bounced back in the second set, sustaining multiple runs led by senior Selena Sanchez '22 and junior Jene Vachirapong '23. Both Selena and Jene scored multiple aces for the Bucs, and the team won the second set 25-20, forcing a third set.
Although Blair competed throughout the game, the team fell short 19-25 in the third set. The next game will be on Saturday, October 2nd, against Princeton Day School.
