Despite traveling to Peddie through snow and cold, the Blair indoor track team brought plenty of heat to the track at the Peddie Invitational.
The girls' team had an outstanding day, highlighted by Lola Bambe '27, who placed 5th in the 45 and followed it up with a strong 2nd-place finish in the 200. Rachel Castro '28 also had a great showing, finishing 5th in the 200, while Amelia Wu '28 placed 4th in the 400. Sofia Alonso '28 rounded out the girls’ performances with an 8th-place finish in the same event.
The boys' team continued the momentum with several strong efforts of their own. Jaiveer Chauhan '26 took 3rd in the 45, with Sekario Crossman '28 close behind in 7th. Harrison Aillet '28 placed 9th in the 200, and Brayden Yau '27 delivered one of the highlights of the meet—running a huge PR in the 3200 to earn a 5th-place finish.
A strong meet across the board for the Bucs. Next up: the team heads to the Ocean Breeze Invitational this weekend.
