It has been an amazing year for Jabri Abdur-Rahim '20 on the basketball court, which has ended with the junior earning the NJ Gatorade Player of the Year award.

Throughout the season, Jabri was a dominating force averaging around 16.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. Not only did he lead the Bucs on the offensive end, but also was a strong contributor to this year's legendary season of winning both the MAPL title and NJISAA Prep A State title.

"Jabri had a superb junior campaign helping to lead us to an unprecedented trifecta, as we were undefeated in the MAPL and won the MAPL Tourney and the State Prep A Tourney in the same year," said Joe Mantegna, Blair's head basketball coach. "He was our second leading scorer and leading rebounder. Most importantly, Jabri was a selfless teammate, a committed community member and someone who put in the work when no one was watching."
